Mind Body Approach

Kids Mental Health

We understand that children experience mental health challenges in ways that are deeply embodied. Talk therapy alone is not always developmentally appropriate—especially when young people are still learning to name their emotions, understand their bodies, and feel safe in relationship.

Our services integrate a mind-body approach that includes:

  • Somatic techniques to regulate the nervous system and help children feel grounded

  • Expressive arts therapy to support emotional processing and self-expression

  • Parenting sessions to strengthen attachment, communication, and co-regulation at home

  • Pediatric massage therapy to reduce stress, relieve physical discomfort, and build body awareness

Massage therapy can be especially powerful during periods of stress, transition, or growth. It offers a safe, consent-based touch experience that helps kids feel more calm, connected, and confident in their bodies. For children with ADHD, autism, or sensory processing sensitivities, massage can support nervous system regulation, improve sleep, and reduce overwhelm through grounding, repetitive touch.

We work with children and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity shifts, family stress, and more. Every session is customized to the individual—honoring their developmental stage, sensory needs, and unique communication style.

Our goal is to help young people feel safe, seen, and supported—emotionally, physically, and relationally.

Teens Mental Health

Managing the weight of academic pressure, life transitions, social stress, and expectations can be too much for anyone to deal. Our therapy services are designed specifically for teens navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, identity questions, or major life transitions.

We offer a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where teens can:

  • Develop emotional regulation and coping skills

  • Explore self-worth, identity, and personal values

  • Build communication and assertiveness

  • Process trauma, loss, or difficult family dynamics

  • Get support for anxiety, panic, and low mood

Sessions are paced with care and consent, often incorporating creative tools or neurodivergent-affirming approaches where needed. Depending on the teens preferences and comfort level, parents are sometimes invited to be part of the process in supportive ways.

We’re here to help teens feel more connected to themselves and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges—with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
